OMNI Awarded FEED Contract to Supply Three Additional Omni200 Units

OTTAWA, ON, June 8, 2023 – OMNI Conversion Technologies Inc. (OMNI) today announced the award of a FEED (front-end engineering design) contract award from CST New Madrid, LLC (CST New Madrid), a subsidiary of Circular SynTech, LLC (Circular SynTech), to supply three additional units of its Omni200 technology for the company’s planned OneStep™ waste-to-renewable-chemicals facility in New Madrid, Missouri, United States.

This order for three Omni200 units follows an announcement made by the two companies in February that they had finalized a FEED contract for the project’s initial Omni200 unit.

The CST New Madrid facility will be the first of its kind to implement its proprietary OneStep™ catalysis for the production of waste-to-renewable fuels and chemicals. OMNI’s Omni200 technology will generate the ultra-clean OmniSyngas at the ratios required to react with Circular SynTech’s OneStep™ catalyst producing reformates which will then be distilled into renewable fuels or chemicals for the commercial market.

“This second FEED contract from CST New Madrid demonstrates a confidence in OMNI’s technology to deliver valuable and ultra-clean syngas while avoiding harmful methane emissions associated with landfilling waste,” said Chief Executive Officer of OMNI, Jon Lundy. “We are excited to support CST New Madrid’s rapid progress in producing renewable carbon negative chemicals in a unique and sustainable way while making a meaningful difference in the fight against climate change.”

“Circular SynTech is the perfect compliment to the OMNI technology,” stated Chief Operations Officer of CST New Madrid, Michael Harrelson. “With our H2:CO ratio of 0.9:1 in lieu of 2:1 of our competition, and with distillate and BTX-chain chemical creation in lieu of methane and waxes, CST not only uses GHG-producing waste as its feedstock but also uses non-biogenic waste to create alternatives to fossil fuel-created distillates and chemicals. We couldn’t do this without OMNI.”

About The Omni200

The Omni200 is a thermal chemical conversion system which has been proven at industrial scale. It is a complete integrated system, delivered in large modules, rather than stick-built at site. It receives and converts at a rate of 200 tonnes per day (67,000 tonnes per year) a wide variety and mix of minimally prepared energetic wastes into clean consistent syngas with a predictable heating value and composition. The H2/CO ratio and other parameters can be tailored to a variety of applications. Multiple units can be readily combined for larger plants.
